They call it a levitating chair, a sophisticated wheel chair, without the wheels. The chair floats on a cushion, much like a hovercraft. That said, this is very much like a bumper car.

So, what are the upsides of this levitating chair over a wheelie wheel chair? Well, I guess its kinda cool, and it will certainly make your grandpa the coolest dude in town. But note, it can only carry up to 150kg, and it will not work on carpeted floors.

Sometimes, these technologies are meant to be kept in the closet, not in the market. A wheel chair seems to have a brighter future.
