Internet Explorer Issues (European)

So now Microsoft have to put in a couple more choices for Windows users in terms of Web Browser selection. This gives the EU some burden off in saying that Microsoft is monopolizing the web browser industry in the Windows market. Gosh, this is plain stupid. It’s as if someone would to go up to a BMW dealership and complain about the BMW engine in his or her newly purchased car, and say that they would rather have a Mercedes engine in it.

It is a known fact that the manufacturers bundled software, e.g. Windows and Internet Explorer, would work seamlessly within each another. So, what is this then?

“In addition, (computer makers) would be able to install competing Web browsers, set those as default and disable Internet Explorer should they so wish. The Commission welcomes this proposal, and will now investigate its practical effectiveness in terms of ensuring genuine consumer choice.” The EU

Erm?

P.s: I thought we have the option to do so already?
