Sony Ericsson has now launched 2 new devices, Walkman Phones they call them. The W995 and the W508.

The W995 is a complete media phone (slider), with its total fuze of music and video, users will no longer need to be in touch with reality anymore. That said, it’s battery capacity will only allow the W995 to run at approximately 5 hrs on video playback, then users will return to reality. It comes with 8.1 mega-pixel camera, 2.6” screen, built in stereo speakers and a set of HPM-77 premium headphones. 3G Connectivity, Wi-Fi and Bluetooth are all built in of course.

The W508 is said to be the sub par walkman phone compared to it’s elder brother, the W995. A flip phone with Shake and Gesture control, SenseMe™ and TrackID™. A 3.2 megapixel camera, HSDPA and 1GB M2 card completes the W508.

Both the phones come with a 24 months manufacturer warranty. The Sony Ericsson W995 is priced at RM 1899 and the W508 is priced at RM 999.
