Apptism, a site that tracks and rates the Apple App store. They pointed out recently that the App store hit 10,000 apps, not too long after, Apple hit the magical 20,000. That took only 6 months. It seems that the ease of using the iPhone SDK combined with the huge success of the device accelerated the growth of the App Store. Sure, number’s aren’t the best indicator of quality, but hey, 20,000, who else is gonna hit that eh?

We are now waiting for 100,000. Bring it on!
